This model is a playing-card King themed 3D relief on an aluminum alloy base, raising the classic King image right up from the card face. The King sits side-on upon his throne, wearing a splendid crown, long beard falling over his chest, sword in hand, gaze blazing. The armor engravings, robe folds and crown gems are all treated with layered high relief; every detail turns naturally with the rise and fall of the form, creating rich and deep layers of light and shade. The scrollwork patterns along the card edge complement the majestic posture of the King, highlighting royal dignity and solemnity.

 The diamond background pattern of the playing card and the border decorations are rendered in low relief — intricate yet orderly, forming a dense-versus-sparse contrast with the high relief of the King. The work retains the recognizability of the classic playing card image while endowing it with the refinement and strength of contemporary metal craft.
